This highly limited offering was bottled unfined and unfiltered, and aged for eleven months in three year air-dried French oak barrels. Only 21 cases produced. Comprised entirely of Pommard Clone Pinot Noir from the Yiayia Block of Pelos Sandberg Vineyard, planted in 2002.Impressions
Dark red berries, nuanced licorice and delicate hints of tea leaf wrapped in toast abound as the 2019 Yiayia Block introduces itself, a royal first addition to our library collection of pinot noirs. Its voluptuous midpalate leads to a long, satiny finish, framed by polished tannins. Noteworthy for its harmonious and age-worthy character.
