Join Johanna at The Allison Inn & Spa in Newberg on Thursday February 16th from 630 – 730 pm. She will be pouring iOTA’s 2008 and 2009 pinot noir vintages at a complimentary event in the Living Room.

Thanksgiving Open House at iOTA Cellars
With harvest just barely ended and the last fruit pressed and to barrel just hours ago, it’s hard to believe Thanksgiving can be around the corner, but it is! If you live nearby or find yourself in Oregon over the holiday weekend, come see us and try a vertical of our 2006, 2007 and 2009 pinot noirs. We will be open Friday and Saturday November 25th and 26th from 11-5 pm. $10 admission (refunded with 2 bottle purchase) includes Riedel logo glass and tasty “pinot-friendly” food spread. If we’re lucky, Yiayia will be making her famous lentil soup again…of course Pappou will take all the credit! Address: 7895 SE Amity Road, Amity.

All fruit picked!!
Concluded our picks at Pelos Sandberg. iOTA Cellars harvested 17+ tons. We have 11 fermentations going in the winery, all at different stages. Late harvest, but looking good. The work moves inside now and just in time. You never know when those rains will begin in earnest.

Oct 20th – 1st pick of 2011
Few pics from day one. Brought in about 4.5 tons for iOTA plus 5.5 tons delivered for our two buyers. More next week. Beautiful day, great help from Dan and Patricia. No longer just Don, Johanna and Lynne. We LOVED having help. Jessica and her crew were tops.

Almost harvest 2011!!
I am packing my bags today. Heading to Amity for harvest this week. The first of our fruit should be coming off the vine Thursday. I will try to post pictures and updates as I can. We were lucky enough to have good friends from our Minnesota days visiting on Saturday Oct 15th with Johanna & Don. They shared some great shots with us. Thanks, Jeff & Julie!
